The framework acts as an abstraction layer, allowing our agents to be based on whatever LLM solution best fits its purpose. Multiple LLMs can be used, and swapped in and out as required for different skills and tools usage.

 

Ana is a generalist, providing coverage of all the different skills we provide. The framework allows Ana to be split into multiple more specialised agents, each one more focussed on a specific set of skills, eg customer insights analyst, operations manager, strategy advisor, customer care assistant, revenue analyst, etc.

 

Each agent will only have access to data that is appropriate for their role. For instance, the operations manager role does not require access to revenue data, but accesses vehicle status, trips and can manage employees through setting tasks. Customer care assistant does not need access to operations data, but is able to dive deep into customer records on trips taken and fees charged.

 

The framework also has allowed us to develop many different tools for the AI to use. These tools cover simple things like accessing and analysing specific datasets, eg customer sentiment related data, or trip data, or vehicle status data. The tools are also capable of executing actions for example, changing vehicle status if the agent assesses an issue with a vehicle from the data, or sending an alert to a supervisor about fleet status, or creating and sending a weekly report based on how the fleet performed.

 

As shared mobility operators increase their use of Ana and her specialists, the technical framework will allow for rapid creation of new capabilities, as we find more things for Ana to do.
